CTEDU Certification Requirements

Upon finishing the Academic Life Coaching or Essential Life Coaching 1.0 Training Program, along with optional self-study, you can seek CTEDU coach certification. This certification from an accredited organization like CTEDU signifies your professionalism and valuable skill set to potential clients.

The ICF credentialing process depends on your chosen training level (ACC, PCC, MCC). Our training programs align with the specific requirements for each path to obtaining your ICF credential.

Certification aims to make you an outstanding coach, boosting skills and confidence for a successful coaching career. The following steps outline how to obtain CTEDU certification and an ICF credential.

Coach Training EDU Certification Requirements and ICF Credentialing Paths

CTEDU Associate Coach Certification (ACC)

To complete your CTEDU Associate Coach Certification, you will need to complete the following:

  1. Successfully finish a 1.0 Training Course
  2. Complete three one-on-one overviews
  3. Complete the Group Mentor Coaching course
  4. Log Coaching Experience Hours (10 hours)
  5. Apply for CTEDU certification

CTEDU Professional Coach Certification (PCC)

To complete your CTEDU Professional Coach Certification, you will need to complete the following:

  1. Successfully finish a 1.0 Training Course
  2. Complete three one-on-one overviews
  3. Complete the Group Mentor Coaching course
  4. Successfully finish a 2.0 Training Course
  5. Complete three one-on-one overviews (2.0)
  6. Log Coaching Experience (20hrs)
  7. Apply for CTEDU certification

CTEDU Master Coach Certification (MCC)

  1. Successfully finish a 1.0 Training Course
  2. Complete three one-on-one overviews
  3. Complete the Group Mentor Coaching course
  4. Successfully finish a 2.0 Training Course
  5. Complete three one-on-one overviews (2.0)
  6. Successfully finish two to three Advanced Training Courses*
  7. Complete three one-on-one overviews (3.0)
  8. Master Mentor Coaching
  9. Log Coaching Experience Hours (30hrs)
  10. Apply for CTEDU certification

*The number of advanced training courses you need to complete your MCC depends on the number of hours per class. You will need to complete 75 hours of advanced coach training to complete the education requirement for your MCC credential.

There is an “Apply for Certification”  link on the Coach Portal dashboard that will guide you through uploading your CTEDU Practice Client coaching log and confirming the address where you want to receive your certificate.
